Terms of Service

Last updated 24 July 2026

These terms cover your use of AI Builders, the community platform at aib.club ("the Hub", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Hub you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Hub.

What the Hub is

The Hub is a volunteer-run platform for local AI builder communities. It hosts event pages, member profiles, scheduling, and community communication. Access to parts of the Hub depends on your role in a community, and communities may set their own house rules on top of these terms.

Your account

  • Give accurate details and keep your login secure.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 16.
  • Do not share access with someone who is not entitled to it.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Hub to:

  • harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone,
  • post unlawful content, spam, or content you have no right to share,
  • scrape, resell, or bulk-export member data, including for cold outreach,
  • attack, probe, or overload the platform or the services it connects to,
  • impersonate another person, community, or organisation.

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules, usually after a warning where the situation allows one.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store and display it so the Hub can work, for example showing your talk on a public event page or your profile to your community. Anything you mark as public may be visible to anyone on the internet, including search engines. You can edit or remove your content at any time.

Connected accounts

You may connect third-party accounts such as Google, calendar providers, or messaging services. Those connections are optional, we request the narrowest access that makes the feature work, and you can disconnect at any time. What we do with data from those accounts is described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of a connected service also remains subject to that service's own terms.

Events, tickets and payments

Events are organised by the community that lists them. Where an event is paid or a sponsorship is invoiced, the terms of that specific ticket, invoice, or agreement apply, including refunds. We are not responsible for what happens at an in-person event beyond running the platform that lists it.

Availability and changes

The Hub is provided as-is, without warranty. We run it on a volunteer basis and cannot promise uninterrupted service. We may change, add, or retire features, and we will give notice of material changes to these terms by posting an updated version here.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or lost revenue arising from your use of the Hub. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using the Hub and request deletion of your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer law in your country gives you a different forum.
